A Life That Matters

Good Won't Last

WE ARE ENCOURAGING ALL GROUPS TO TAKE SOME TIME IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS OF THIS TRIMESTER TO CELEBRATE COMMUNION TOGETHER AS A GROUP.

AS WE GO THROUGH A SEASON OF ISOLATION AND UNCERTAINTY, THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO DRAW CLOSER TO CHRIST AND EACH OTHER AS WE REMIND OURSELVES OF THE CERTAINTY WE HAVE OVER SIN AND DEATH BECAUSE OF CHRIST’S DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION.

2020.05.17 - Drew Karschner - "Good Won't Last" There are plenty of people around us who are doing good deeds but they still aren’t making an eternal difference. We can do a lot of good, but without Christ at the center of our motivations, those good works will die along with us. So how do we live a life that truly honors God and matters forever? Romans 3:20

Trust Issues

We are encouraging all groups to take some time this week or next to celebrate communion together as a group. As we go through a season of isolation and uncertainty, this is a great opportunity to draw closer to Christ and each other as we remind ourselves of the certainty we have over sin and death because of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

2020.05.10 - Drew Karschner - "Trust Issues" Our current circumstances may make a life without worry seem impossible. We worry about our jobs, health, kids, parents, relationship statuses, school loans, mortgages, and the list goes on. Unfortunately, our worries don't change our circumstances. In fact, they can actually make them worse. In this sermon, we'll discover how we can move away from worry so we can make a difference where it matters. Matthew 6:25

A Tale of Two Responses

2020.05.03 - Aaron Hixson - "A Tale of Two Responses" As uncomfortable as it is to talk about money, it's a massive part of our everyday lives. Especially in a world of furloughs, layoffs and economic shutdown, we're thinking about money more than ever. But how does money impact our ability to live a life that counts? We'll check out the response of two people who had to make a choice between money and a life that matters - in their responses, we'll find hope for our path forward. Luke 18

Don't Miss The Moment

2020.04.26 - Drew Karschner - "Don't Miss the Moment" Our lives are often busy and distracted, and unfortunately we miss out on investing in the relationships that God puts before us. From the people we meet once in a coffee shop, to friends, co-workers, neighbors, and even our closest family members, how can we be giving them our full attention and investing in them like eternity depends on it? Ephesians 5
