The Power of Story

2020.08.30 - Nate Miller - "The Power of Story" Invite is one of the most important parts of living Pi2, yet can it feel like the hardest part. How and what does "invite" look like? How can we have confidence in inviting people to take steps towards God? In this message we hope to answer all of those questions! Did you enjoy a song from the service? Worship during the week by heading to northridgeworship.info/music to listen again!

Building The Bridge

2020.08.23 - Aaron Hixson - "Building the Bridge" When it comes to living Pi2, prayer, and inviting are obvious Biblical commands. But why do we place so much emphasis on investing in other people's lives? What's the biblical basis for this, and what does it accomplish? In this talk, we explore the what, why, who, and how of investment. John 1:40-42

Good Won't Last

WE ARE ENCOURAGING ALL GROUPS TO TAKE SOME TIME IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS OF THIS TRIMESTER TO CELEBRATE COMMUNION TOGETHER AS A GROUP.

AS WE GO THROUGH A SEASON OF ISOLATION AND UNCERTAINTY, THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO DRAW CLOSER TO CHRIST AND EACH OTHER AS WE REMIND OURSELVES OF THE CERTAINTY WE HAVE OVER SIN AND DEATH BECAUSE OF CHRIST’S DEATH, BURIAL, AND RESURRECTION.

2020.05.17 - Drew Karschner - "Good Won't Last" There are plenty of people around us who are doing good deeds but they still aren’t making an eternal difference. We can do a lot of good, but without Christ at the center of our motivations, those good works will die along with us. So how do we live a life that truly honors God and matters forever? Romans 3:20

Success Can Hurt

2019.11.10 - Drew Karschner - "Success Can Hurt" One of the most fulfilling things a Christian can experience is gospel success. There is nothing more motivating than seeing people trust Jesus. But the truth is, gospel success can bring its challenges, and Paul found that to be true as his ministry began to gain traction. Acts 16

Common Ground

2019.11.03 - Drew Karschner - "Common Ground" Paul started his ministry with the Jews, but when they treated him poorly and rejected his messages, he went to the Gentiles. Knowing the Gentiles were unfamiliar with God, he chose a different approach to reach them. We can learn from Paul’s life that approach often trumps content. Acts 17

The Tentmaker

We are encouraging all Community Groups to celebrate Communion together between 10/20 and 10/31. See instructions guide below. Reflecting on Christ’s sacrifice on our behalf is central to Christian community.

2019.10.27 - Aaron Hixson - "The Tentmaker" Without a doubt, Paul was the most prolific missionary in the early church. His ambition in spreading the message about Jesus is hard to even fully grasp - so what can we learn from how he did ministry? What can we apply to our lives so that we can be more effective in impacting others for Christ? In this message we'll see facts about how Paul operated and what that means for us today. 1 Corinthians 11:1

Nothing Will Be The Same

2019.10.13 - Aaron Hixson - "Nothing Will Be The Same" There are pivotal moments in life when everything changes - times that we look back on and realize it was the beginning of something that would alter the course of our life. For Paul, this is that moment. And in this talk, we'll explore what questions he had to answer in order to step into the rest of his life, and we'll discover how they might be the same questions we have to answer for ourselves. Acts 9:6-19

Love Does

2017.10.08 - Drew Karschner - "Love Does" Love might be one of the most overused, yet least understood, words in the English dictionary. We often think of love as a feeling, but love is a decision followed by action. One question you might have is this: Since the world we live in is so large, how can we really show our love? How do we get beyond our walls and neighborhoods and truly love like Christ commands us? Matthew 22:36-40
