Week 1 of our Winter Trimester is in the books.
3 quick questions for you as we jump into a new trimester.
1. What Is God Doing In Your Group?
We'd love to hear what God is doing and share those stories with other leaders.
It could be:
New people joining your group? Spouses joining, disconnected group members returning, a friend you invited showing up.
Next steps being taken in your group? Growth Goals people are pursuing or making progress on. Stories of spiritual growth, life change, or healing.
Unbelievers checking out group for the first time, asking questions, or placing their faith in Jesus.
A shared experience of serving together, connecting at a social, or relationships being deepened.
A way your group helped provide care for someone in need.
Just reply to this email to share with us. We'd love to celebrate what God is doing.
2. Have you RSVP'd for Re:Group?
If not, the Re:Group details are below. Please let us know by this Wednesday, January 26th.
3. Have you opened your Beyond Box yet?
As you regather with your group, take 20-30 minutes together to open the box and explore opportunities to serve together. We've received a lot of positive feedback about the experience.
After you open the box, make sure to go to iwant.info to take your next step.
HERE is the video reminder of how to use the boxes.
2 Updates/Reminders:
1. Sharing Honestly With Each Other
Drew challenged us last Sunday to not only get community in group, but to give community. Part of giving Community comes through openness and accountability.
As I wrote about here: "What Your Group Members Aren't Telling You", we can't get over the things we are not sharing. Sharing our struggles and confession of sin is essential to the growth of every Christian.
It starts with us as Leaders as we Model Authenticity in our group.
2. Engaging the Bible Together
Drew will be challenging all of us in tomorrow's sermon to establish the habit of reading and meditating on God's Word. We'll be challenging our church to join us in a 52-Day Bible Reading Plan through the book of Luke and Acts.
If you have never done a shared Bible reading plan as a group, this is a great opportunity engage the Bible together.
We are praying for you as you open your Bibles and open your hearts together with your group!
If there is anything we can be of help with, reply to this email or reach out to your coach.
Re:Group Leader Winter Kickoff

(New Leader Breakout 4:15PM - 4:50PM)
At the Rochester Campus
Dinner and childcare will be provided.
Our Theme
We will address Group Leader Essential #6 - Replace Yourself.
What do you do if you are leading alone and you don't see anyone in your group who has potential to lead?
How long can you lead your group without having co-leaders?
How do you find and develop new leaders in your group?
Whether your group multiplies or your circumstances change, there will be a day when you are no longer able to be part of your group. Who will lead when you are no longer there?
That's what we'll be talking about at our Re:Group Community Group Leader Winter Kickoff.
This is a great opportunity to sharpen your leadership skills as Drew Karschner and our Group Coaches discuss these tensions & questions.
We will also be sharing some updates about what God has been up to at Northridge and give you the inside scoop of what's next for our church.
Our goal behind each Re:Group event is to encourage, equip, and inspire you as leaders for your role in caring for and discipling the people of Northridge Church.
